Has anyone successfully sourced out the window slide channel material for original 4104 windows? I have a window stuck open because the channel liner has failed. If I can't locate this stuff, I will have to replace the entire window.

Why does this stuff happen in rainy/cold weather???

Jim -

Because Murphy is always along for the ride?

Anyway, have you called Luke yet? 1-888-262-2434

Another source might be a local glass company?

I've often heard amongst those involved in the old car hobby this stuff being called "fuzzies", so maybe Hemmings?

But I'd still try Luke first.

FWIW & HTH. . .

:-)

Yeah, I know that guy Murphy. I think he's an optimist.

Haven't called Luke yet. Thanks for the number.

I think you're right, Hemmings or similar is probably the next avenue.

Try here, they make most of the replacement rubber parts for classic car restoration and hot rods. They matched the chanel on my Scenicruiser.

Thanks all. I haven't had a chance to dig into it yet as I am travelling (without the bus) but I've got to get it fixed before winter gets here (NC mountains).
