I have a non titled former RI transit RTS II- some NAYBORE ratted me out for not being registered, the local station says that I have to talk to Trenton(They dont see that as humor) there was a form that the cops fill out to transform a bus into an RV, help from anyone who has fought NJ would be greatly appreciated. toadwarrior@mindspring.com Chris |

I have the same problem with my RTS,also in NJ.Maybe someone out there can help us both.I tried calling Trenton,didn't find it humorous either.I figured to try again when it's closer to going on the road,and I have the motivation to cut through the B.S.-Donn |

Have you looked at the possibilty of an out-of-state registration ? I live in CT and after battling with DMV and getting very frustrated trying to do it the "right way", I registered my 4905 in Maine. Did it all through the mail with a title company and got a legal set of plates in the mail in about a week. I checked with the local police department and the process, although they don't like it, is legal. |

Thanks, I might try that,I'm also tempted to use the search for a lost title form,Can call it an RV and NO sales tax, just say I lost my title. |

One more thing, if anyone has one, what is the correct classification for a NJ RV- is it 6 ? that would be 2 axles over 6000lbs
