Does anyone know if the new "out front" mirrors will work on an older (64) curved windshield coach? I would like to replace the standard truck style dog ears with a mirror that would be placed further to the front of the driver and door window. Seems to me I have seen such on various coach pics, but could be also that I am just dreamin'. Thanx. RCB |

Are you sure you would be happy with the new mirror position? Reason I ask is that one gets used to the old mirror location, then when changed is not happy with the new location. I had this problem. Got new forward style mirrors, (nice ones too!) put them on, then found they were IMPOSSIBLE to get used to, soosss I took them off. Just a thought. Henry |

R.C.: I forgot to answer your question. Sorry. I hate getting middle aged. Yes, they should fit. My '74 10-wheeler has the curved front glass too. Thanks. Henry |

hey rc imho the front mounted mirrors are the bleeps i installed a pair of mci's on the front of my crown and absolutely love the m they seem to clean the front of the coach right up i can see where henry is comming from because they do give you less visibility but if you put the two spot mirrors on the top of the mirrors i think you will be all right they will probably not fit perfect but as all we converters know where there is a will theres a way |

Sorry R.C., but they were traded off for some dash gauges and senders a while back which I may want to install in my '74 Crown 10-wheeler. Do not really need the pyromenter/boost gauge as yet-- I only have a non turboed Cummins big cam 250, but some day..... I want to update my 250 into a 444! He, he, he! Then I will want and need the various power level stuff sooosss I don't keep doing burnouts!!! CROWNS FOREVER!!! Henry |
