I need information on a solid skylight or one of the larger vents to place in the shower for more light, possibly more headroom. Where can I find these?? Is this a practical solution?? Thanks for all the great information. Tom Hamrick - Eagle 10 "S" |

Sounds like a good idea to me. I've also seen one conversion where the floor of the shower was lowered into the bay about 6 to 8 inches. Lots of work, but a really nice finished look. Also helps keep water out of the coach. -- Don |

The Boat folks have GREAT hatches , not very cheap, but nice in that some brands can be opened either way {trick hinge}. Many are smoked so you can retain some privacy , if you worry about folks in overpasses looking in on you. Defender industries in Conn. has good free catalog , discount prices and an 800# Same for WEST Marine, or Hamilton Marine in RI. FAST FRED |

I had a '86 Country Coach that had a skylight like you are talking about over the shower. It was solid and raised in the center giving about 5 or so more inches of headroom. It was a pebble like look which prohibited seeing through it but it allowed plenty of light in. You might give CC a call and see if they can tell you where you might get one.
