I just saw a tour bus (MCI-D) with a commercial kitchen in the rear. They put a heavy 1" thick rubber mat on the floor for ease of cleaning and to muffle the engine sound, heat and vibration. They can be lifted out of the way to get to the engine access covers. Those mats are available at agricultural supply stores. They are used for cows and horses on concrete barn floors and are not expensive. -Very heavy duty. They might come in handy to muffle a generator etc. Just an idea... |

I have used those in my pickup when I had a slide in camper. They are just about indestructable. About the only complaint is they are pretty heavy. They won't blow out of the back of your pickup, they will stay put on your floor. Not the most attractive things but not bad. |
