My ISP is upgrading my server on November 18 and has sent me the following message: "We will be performing scheduled maintenance on your server on November 18th @ 10:00 PM CST. During this time we will be upgrading our Apache web server to version 2.2.10 (from 1.3.4x). We will also be upgrading the operating system from CentOS 4.7 to CentOS 5.2. The server will stay online during this time however while the Apache service is recompiled your websites and your client websites will be unavailable for an estimated 30-45 minutes. During this time an unbranded, generic 'Under Maintenance' page will be displayed instead of your normal content". I'll be watching to make sure everything goes well, but ya just never know... as we have all experienced before, right? :-) *sigh* Ian www.busnut.com |

Oh Oh! Been in that trench before. Put on some comfortable clothes, a fresh pot of coffee, and get a comfortable chair, Ian. Hoping for the best! |

Optimistic... "Your websites and your client websites will be unavailable for an estimated 30-45 minutes" Reality... "Your website and your client websites will be unavailable until we get the upgrade done correctly or finally decide to give up, whichever comes first" . |
