Can anyone tell me how many amp hours are in a
12V 4D battery. Thanks

160 is a good number to use for a 4D.

Bill, if you use a regular 4D, you may not get much more than half as many usable amp hours compared to a deep cycle 4D.

If it's marked starting battery and you want to use it for house battery, it's best to avoid. Marine is better, deep cycle is best.

If they are not marked for type, then look for cold cranking amps (CCA). If you see that, it's most likely a starting battery.

For what it's worth.
