Hi folks, George Myers started this a few years ago in his Coach-Builder's Bulletin and I thought it might be fun to revive it again this year. George asked what the ultimate Christmas gift would be for the bus conversion enthusiast. Personally, I thought the purple ground effects lights would be kinda cool... floating down the highway at night on a cloud of purple light. Of course, to be proper, this gift would have to include a stereo featuring several excessively powerful amplifiers pushing multiple sub-woofers. Probably a little expensive, what, with the economy like it is right now! But this year, more practically, I'm asking Santa for this little ditty. Just a wee little 87 tool Swiss Army Knife from Hammacher Schlemmer (if you've never heard of this company, sadly, you've missed much of what life is worth living for!!) And it's just $1,400. Any other suggestions for the ultimate gift for Christmas this year? Practical; impractical; let's hear from you! Ian www.busnut.com |

Wow I actually thought that was a typo. My head is only a few paces from the beds in my coach so I guess it's all relative with the space we have to work with. |

"Bidet installed the bedroom" Well in the bedroom might be a problem , but in the bath there a snap. Here in FL there are so many immigrants from SA that the Miami Home Depot sells a Bidet kit that goes on the side of a std toilet. A pain to run hot and cold water to , but with the new metal flex lines , not to bad. And is "She Who Must Be Obeyed" wants one .... for less than $100 .... FF |

Hey guys - Not to worry! I'm a Frenchy sorta gal and, as you know, us Frenchy sorta gals just GOTTA have a bidet (for all sorts of reasons). Here's an easy (and cheap) solution: A length (depending entirely on your lady's personal preference) of garden hose hooked to a bypass from your 'on demand' water pump. Check around for prying eyes before use (this being an open air application). Nellie Wilson |
