Thanx for the information, Bruce. We are frequent fuelers, have a line of credit with them and hold one of their credit cards. Gosh...guess this lousy economy is affecting everyone. Glad I'm not a retailer or station owner just now... But for those who are waiting for Jan 20... the "new guy" is not the Savior....just a servant. Let's hope his new?, (Clinton) team has some fresh ideas....whatever happened to change? Weren't we promised that over and over and......, well, you know what I mean, right? Chihuahua.......sorry about that Tom. In Las Cruces we're at 1.379...diesel at $2.069. Haven't seen $4.00 gas for a long time now... I did note that FJ went up a dime today in Anthony, Tx...20 miles south of us. RCB | ||

Not Flying J, I see this AM that Circuit City recieved 1.1 B in bailoutfunds, lost money 7 out or the last 8 qtrs. and we reward that preformance. Someone got to some senator. | ||

In my experience, when a Flying J opens in a location, the price of fuel goes down and stays down at all the competitors nearby. (On the other hand, I've always seen more smoke, rougher starting, lower fuel economy etc. on Flying J fuel on my light-duty diesel.) If Flying J goes under, it will not be good news for us. Some of you may remember that the founder and president of Flying J died in a plane crash a year or 18 months ago. Prolly has something to do with this. | ||

Library of Congress Card Number 99-61089. As in campaign rhetoric. "Illegal....not lawful;not sanctioned by official rules;Syn unlawful, criminal,illegitimate,illicit, wrongful".... Same reference as noted above. .....all sanctioned by Congress, a Democrat controlled congress to be sure, which made it all OK; endorsed, sanctioned, not illegal, not criminal, not illegitimate,illicit or wrongful ...according to law, of course.
