I was told about a GMC PD4501 Scenicruiser in central Pennsylvania for sale, and I would like to know what serial number it is. I keep a list of surviving Scenics by serial number, GHL fleet number, owners name, and bus location. If anyone from central PA. gets a chance to wonder by and look at this bus, I would greatly appreciate it. I have photos of it, and have spoke to the owner via phone. He could not remember the serial number, and is not able to check on it presently. Bus is an older conversion. Asking price is $25K. I am not interested in purchasing bus, would just like serial number for historical records. Serial number is located in tool compartment below driver's window. Compartment door has bumper extension attached to outside. Bus is located off I-80 exit 210, along Route 15 south toward Lewisburg, PA. Any help would be great. Tom McNally PD4501-771 PD4501-1001 |

Tom - Can't help with your request, since I'm clear across the country in CA, but thought I'd drop you a note and ask if you've done any work on 1001 yet? Quite a story to that find!!

Hi RJ I'm in parts collecting mode. I found a complete rust free upper steel windshield cap to replace the rust on 1001. Also found the emergency exit door I needed from a local 4104 being scrapped. If you want to check out any videos of this stuff, search "scenicruiser" on youtube.com Take care. Tom McNally |
