Anyone make a coach type roof top evaporative cooler that looks like a roof AC unit? Since I prefer warm/hot/dry climates, these may work as well as a reefer. Water consumption? Energy requirements? Thanks. |

coleman used to make them i have one on a pick up camper works ok in the desert. small 12volt fan and pump looks just like a refrigerated unit. The only problems i had was keeping the water lines open after long periods of non use |

Henry, If you do a Google search for "evaporative cooler for RV", you'll find some links to click on. Since they're so simple, they seem kind of expensive to me, but the Watcon link has specs for at least one of its models. Tom Caffrey PD4106-2576 |
