Our local Walmart including a neighboring Super Center does not carry Delo 100. They won't even order it as they are not allowed to.
I can order it from a local small oil supply company, check your yellow pages. There must be lots of them in Phoenix who deal with Chevron oil or Shell for their Rotella and can supply it for you in various sizes. I was offered it from quarts to 55 gall drums.
Peter.

Jerry -

Look in the yellow pages under "Oils - Lubricating", that's where my local distributor is listed.

Bill - The WalMarts in my area do not carry Delo 100 40wt anymore. But they do carry Delo 400 15-40 multi-weight. Better double check your local store. . . And please watch the caps lock key - I don't think your intention was to YELL at us!

RJ, you're not suggesting to use 15-40 in a two stroke Detroit, are you?

Heaven's NO!!!!

I was just suggesting that perhaps Bill might want to double check exactly which oil his local WalMart is carrying, as the ones around here no longer stock Delo 100 straight 40wt.

Thanks for being alert to a possible misinterpretation of my posting - it's sharp readers like you who keep us on our toes!!

Best source would be a bulk plant or petro distributor. Should be one near u. Alternatives are Shell Rotella and Citgo 500. both avail in 30 or 40 wt.

I found the manufacturers web site a long time ago and they supplied the name of the local distributors. Can not remember the web site. I have not seen it at WalMart for a long time.

I use Texaco Ursa 40. I get it in cases of (6) 1 gallon jugs from Sam's Club. Never had any problem there. Other wholesale clubs, B.J.s, Costco, etc. do not carry HD40 diesel oil around here.

"....patronize Walmart"!! Maybe as a last resort and only after exhausting every alternative. No, I prefer to patronize my locally owned jobber, who sells me Delo 100 by the case, and without putting up with: a) whole families of 12 walking abreast down an aisle wondering if they can spend their entire welfare checks at one time, b) some fat chick in stretch pants exploding at the seams (not very pretty), c) or wondering how our nation has become so satisfied with crap. JMHO! (It should be noted that my wife does not share my opinion.)
