Hi folks, Due to a major server crash at our ISP, our interactive areas were temporarily off the air for a few days. Please understand that the Internet comes to your computer screen through several computer connections... sometimes a few dozen connections, depending. At any given time, every computer must be operating correctly for the connection to work and redundancy, that is, several computers providing the same visual output, can only go so far. That said, apprently all the wheels fell off on Friday morning which disabled our interactive areas. As my wife and I were out of town on the weekend, naturally we didn't find out about the crash until Sunday night when tech support is limited. I have since been advised that I can now call into a 24 hour tech hotline reserved for a few clients of my ISP, which may circumvent some of any future delays in restoring the site to normal. All is well now. Thank you for your patience and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. I thank all of those viewers who were kind enough to send an e-mail to us advising of the situation and wishing us a speedy recovery! Warmest regards, Ian Giffin www.busnut.com |

Ian: Thanks for your excellent service and there is no apology needed for not being up 24/7/365... It was a bit frustrating, but I do understand the tremendous amount of work that is involved, and computers do burp! I am so glad my old bus does not burp as much as my modern computers! Now if I could only remember what little bits of drivel I wanted to post… Peter |
