Hello, my name is Aaron and I am in search of a replacement Mini-Max brake can manufactured by ITI. I'm in a bit of a time crunch situation so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Any parts will be considered, as long as they are rebuildable, thankyou Aaron |

You better grad both of those on Ebay. My understanding is that they are no longer sold by the manufacturer. Jack |

Thanks guys, unfortunately, those cans have a 3/4" output shaft and are designed for heavier applications such as cats. Otherwise, they look identicle to mine. Thanks for the feedback and any other suggestions too Aaron |

Do you want these for your tag? Prevo uses 16/24's maxis there. Do you have to go with those exotic expensive style or just use the old style standard maxis. If that is an option you can get them at any truck supply house?????????? The diameter of the push rod is irrelevant (you simply need the correct cleaves), but the dimension of the 2 diaphragms IS. Like 16/24 or 30/36 or 30/30 The lenght of the pushrod IS also important. The slack adjuster should be set at a perfect 90 degree angle to the rod with the brakes set. The first # is the size of the service brake diaphragm and the 2nd# is the emergency brake diaphragm. Again prevo uses a 16/24 on the tag. We have 30/36's on the drives. Most semis have 30/30 |

Thanks guys, I wish I had tags. I'm in a 4106 which is apparently, the first gm model where space started to become an issue due to the bulkhead. The whole system has been updated to accommodate the mini-max's and I'm not sure if it will support maxi's or dd3's. I know that all my airlines are smaller than original equip. and according to my mini-max paperwork, they use less air than the others so I'm not sure how in depth of a job it would be to switch back |
