I have an auxilliary tank I want to mount in the bay of my Eagle. I need a valve to switch from main to reserve. I plan in mounting the valve in front of the fuel filter in the engine compartment. Anyone ever do this? Where can I find a valve to accomplish the task? Thanks for your help. David Anderson

You should check that the valve is specified for diesel fuel. Sometimes the seals are attacked by fuels that they are not designed for, such as a gasoline valve being for diesel.

I myself would be conserned with the amount that the valve will flow, suction and the return side. These valves are made to flow small amounts of gas, not the amount that a mechanical gear type pump will put out. Steve

You can buy a 6 port hydrulic value from some one like Northern Hydrulic it has 1/2" ports and will flow about 40gal per min. The company I work for we have been using these on some 12V92's and 8V92's for years no problems. They cost aprox $80.00 Al
