Has anyone tried to convert the 04 baggage door to one that will open more straight up like the later style busses? A lot of times at the NHRA races we get parked so close together we cant get into the bays due to the way they open. this may also solve the rubber hinge problems. Thanking you all in advance Bud |

Bud, I talked to some people with a buffalo that had the type of hinges you mentioned, for the same reason. He said that he wished that he had the older style, because rainwater running down the side of the coach runs into the bays. I thought about it and decided that I was already well off. However, yes, I'm sure that others have done what you want to do. One thing to watch is that the door ought to be clamped firmly into the sealing rubber in the groove around the door when you're finished. Tom Caffrey PD4106-2576 |

Hey Tom: Let your 4905 friend know that there is a rubber seal that goes on the body (2 sides & top) that prevents water from entering the compartments. The doors seal up against it. The original rubber seal is available NEW. I Hope this HELPS!!! LUKE at US COACH |

Tom - FYI, the Buffalos came with the pantograph baggage bin doors OEM from GM. That was a design change starting w/ the 4107s. FWIW, RJ PD4106-2784 Fresno CA |
