Brian: Make one step out of it. That will provide you with a level floor.

Brian: I left mine sloped, you will never notice the slope once you have the conversion finished. Just level all the counter tops and any other horizontal surfaces with respect to the bottom of the side window rails. This will leave you with about 3 inches more headroom in the front of the coach where you will be walking around. DrEd

Brian -

Are you asking about the main floor's slope, or the short, sloped ramp up front?

I'm curious as to how you went
about leveling your cabinets

I made a gauge that allowed me to quickly check for the desired distance between the window rail and the top of each base cabinet and shimmed each cabinet section as I installed it.

Brian: I made a base platform out of 2X4's. Just shimmed up under the front (toward the front of the bus) of the platform. Figure the rise over the run for the length of the platform based on the over all slope from front to rear of the bus. I believe that the overall slope was about 3 inches. Just use that measurement (or whatever your actual slope is)ratioed down to your cabinet base length. You are not talking about a shim over 3/4" on a base platform 8' long. Check this leveled cabinet base platform against the horizontal bottom of your side windows. DrEd
