I have removed the carpeted panels. Now I have found steel panels with a whole lot of rivets!!!! Should I remove these panels to foam insulate or leave them with the factory insulation in tack? Note: I'm planning on foaming the ceiling.

Whatever the coach, rivets signal a structural use.

If your gona pull them out ,

you should plan on reinstalling the same number&type ,

(no pop ribets for driven rivets).

According to the manual, that steel is the inside skin of a structural panel.
