My 8v71 is shutting down at 30psi. I assume the oil pressure switch may be at fault & I can jump across its terminals to bypass. Any tips? I disconnected air line to solenoid valve fuel shutdown & plugged air line to get it going today.

Also "not generating" light is now on & is not charging. Are these two problems related?
Need to fix it right as bus/rv will be for sale in the near future.

Pos in relay circuit, exp if your battery is real low it would not hold in the relay shutdown circuit. That is one way they are related.

Could be the transmission oil pressure if you have a standard. Has a different pump than engine oil and usually doesnt have a gage attached.
Oil pressure sending unit is above bell housing.
You can install a "t" with a gage to see if this is the case.
