I am trying to mount a fiberglass breast plate (from U know who )
On My 69 05 Eagle,It ALMOST fits. The problem is, if I press it into one place it it pukes out at another place,I have cut it in two verticly in thc center, but still not a good fit.
My 05 is a 69 model is it possible that the wind shield area is more of the 01 style ?
if I can't make it fit PROPERLY are there any other Ideas?........ Thanks..... Ken. www.pipesusmc.net

Thanks RIANT... I Gave up on it.I put 1/4 inch wire mesh in a semi circle in between the 2 paralell tubing (Inside) and filled the space with spray foam leaving it recessed ( filed/rasp) about a 1/4 inch and will fill in with fiber glass mat to flush out side.
This way it will not interfere with the winshield rubber, foam is 3 inches thick, also acts as insulation and looks better too.... Ken 05 Eagle ... pipesusmc.net
