Welcome to the newest section of BNO... BNO FACEBOOK! In answer to the thread entitled "What's Next? What do you want to see?", there was an overwhelming consensus that you wanted an area where you could post pictures easily without having to resize them, so you could share with others on the internet. That feature alone will make BNO Facebook one of your favourite places to go on a daily basis! Here's the first place within our hobby of bus motorhoming where you can just sit back and be sociable with your friends and associates! And that's just the beginning!! At BNO Facebook, sign up and have your very own web site!! Not only can you upload and share all your personal photos and videos, you have your very own blog where you can share your own news with the rest of the network, link to your personal fav's, link us to other places you visit, like Photobucket, Facebook, Blogger, Twitter, Myspace, etc. Invite your friends to join, post your own rallies and other events, form your own groups by bus make or other personal interests, and much, much more. Add your own list of friends to share your bus conversion hobby and lifestyle! See your friends online as soon as they, or you, log on. BNO Facebook has it's very own chat room, too!! This site works much the same as Facebook, but membership here is strictly by invitation, so it's ours and ours alone. I will be inviting everyone on my email list and you can too, once you have joined! Here's what you do: email me at bnofacebook@hotmail.com and tell me you want an invitation to join the BNO Facebook network. I'll send you an email invitation. In the email, click on the link to join, sign up, go to your profile and select the options available to you. Have a look around at the many things you can do. Then, invite your friends to join. Simply click the "Invite" tab, upload your entire address book or just a select few friends. It's that simple. I've left some test information on there so you can figure out where everything is and what the various functions do. And you'll notice a couple of familiar faces too!! ...always looking for excuses to resit change & all, my mind must ask, who will now own the rights to all the material we post on this new face book thingy; not that I am concerned as to how my thoughts might be miss-used, more that they do get used, as information not share is generally not reaching it's potential. I always felt safe when Ian was the administrator, but who is the administrator on facebook, would be my short question ? Hi Ace, I have received all your messages about Facebook and the new BNO Facebook. I've send you like a half dozen invitations at a bunch of email addresses you have, including the one you sent to ask for the invitation at bnofacebook@hotmail.com. Dunno what the problem is, but I would check your spam filter, junk mail folder, etc. for any of my stray messages. Ace, The problem is at your computer. Some filter is blocking emails from reaching the address you have given. Another user has also sent you an invitation, so if you're not getting that either, then I have to surmise the problem is yours. This must be some sort of joke you guys are playing right? I am receiving emails like crazy EXCEPT these invites! Jack that IS the correct email and I have nada anywhere I have looked! I checked my spam folder, my trash, my sent, my inbox, and hell I even went out and checked the mailbox by the road! Still nothing! How come Dallas's emails come thru but nobody else's? Very strange! I can even double check on my blackberry which misses nothing and I keep getting ads for growing blueberries, insurance, heart disease, weight loss, etc.. but nothing from here or anyone here except Dallas! Thanks Gomer! Don't worry about Ace. I phoned him at home the other night and while I had him on the line, I turned the privacy settings off at BNO Facebook while he registered himself. When he was registered and online, I turned the privacy settings back on. It's what we do, not who we are, in this life. You, him, me; we're all the same, all breathe the same air, belong to the same race - the human race. There's good and bad everywhere. Some here think I'm evil, too. No worries.
