In my mci8 on the drivers side, there are two switches operated with left foot. One is the hi beam. The other one obviously operated with the heel of foot but looks just like a hi beam switch. I have looked everywhere in the manual and cant find what the switch operates. I clicked it and dont notice it doing anything?

The solution to the cryptic post:

Heel operated air horn, or heel operated electric horn, depending on how the coach was optioned.

There are two mounting positions for a toe activated switch, one for high beams, one for optional fog lights.

A busnut with only high beams may find it convenient to move the high beam switch to the other mounting hole. More foot room, less likely to activate by mistake.

happy coaching!

My electric horn switch is on the steering wheel. You push with da finger.

And if the heel switch looks just like a high beam switch, it powers the same electric horns that the steering wheel switches do.

the air horn button has a bit of a rubber donut around it.

happy coaching!

If it is a retarder, applying it while coasting with no throttle application, you will feel the bus slowing much more quickly. Jack
