I have tried to find the replacments for the torsion system on the 4905 baggage doors and NO one at the sites I have know what I am talking about, can you help as I am going to replace the hinges and those at the same time. If part numbers are available I need that and maybe set-up info. Thanks
Gomer

Marvin... you can problbly get them from AustinHardware.com

They will give you a "form"...fill it out...they will then send you a schematic of what you need. All by Email.

From my experience, I would fudge a bit on the "weight" of the door...ie.. if it is 25 pounds...make it 50. That will give you more "bite" and will hold the door at the level you want it to be. (over your head at an extreme angle, preferably)...:-)

As you know, they will "wear out" in time, and the "xtra" will provide a bit of insurance.

Gomer,

Tokico, Y3029

I don't remember who I bought them from, but you can use that number to cross reference to another supplier if needed.
