LOL well i been bussin, i figured i should give some thanks to those who gave me some good notes on my electrical questions from before, and of course i guess a few apologies cant hurt for i see i stirred it up a little lol!

but i also wanted to mention that shes looking pretty and i havnt bought one book yet baby yeah!!! everything i have been learnig has all come to me by simply asking. its super slow goins cause my friends land is out in the bush and im distracted with the fun (and chores) of camping. i came back for a week and went right back out there, i think i got a lot done considering its just me...

so far i shelled her, cleaned her thuroughly (my my she was filthy), laid in sheet vinyl for the floor, put up the particians seperating the front from the back where the shop is, built ramps and got her up on a level 9 1/2 inch raise, fixed all the leaks so shes water tight, i got all my electrical and plumbing issues squared away (not going to actually complete the plumbing till next summer i think), AND i put in the shop entirely we were working in it the last week i was up there. i been helping my friend with land improvements up there too so i got me a tan!

ok i been gone longer than i wanted so lemme play catchup...

Sean - im sorry if i twisted your dreds but honestly mahn me only wonted ta know who makes a yer cool fridge/freezer mahn, me not even gwanna buy one, just curious mahn i wont rip u off bruddas i swears it.

Fast Fred - lotsa thanks i have received much advice similar to what you have pointed out in regards to gas vs. electric

jack conrad - thanks a bunch everything you said was pretty much what i was originally thinking as far as figuring how much pull i want to create first then get the inverters and batteries (some panels later down the road). but i havnt been looking into buying too much yet so im glad to see that you say everything im going to want is out there for me

Bruce Henderson - well i suppose i cant stop you from theorizing whatever youd like, let freedom ring for all!

George todd - i wasnt asking anyone to write ME a book, a simple "yep u got it, or no u idiot your gonna kill yourself like that" woulda done. if its appologies u want i can hand em out by the dozen but they wont mean anything because none of that was an accident. everyone (including myself) intentionally stroked their KBs to type their text. im not ashamed to tell ppl how i feel, for i like to know how i effect those around me as well. but i didnt mean to piss anyone off so I AM SORRY for that pelase forgive me.

BW - you seem very wise and understanding, so i know i can just leave it at that

Gomer - sorry bout that email bruddah lol

Mac - lol im going to use my bus right now for travelling but in a year or two i want to get some land and have it be my first home, im kinda living in it already!

RC Bishop - lol thanks for telling me what fridge u had. but wadda ya mean u "stayed outa it till now" i never posted again till now after the one i started that thread with. I certaintly wasnt attacking u either...u might have me confused?

Truthhunter - it appears u know how these things go lol (im serious) cause i DID do it my way! oh yeah thanks for not joining my hate club LOL ;-)

JJ woden - i said in previous posts i was leaving town to go work on the bus. i didnt mean to scare ya but im not a crack head why would i read the same post over twice a day (lol)? hehehe as bruce and sean pointed out we apparently dont know eachother too well. If u think about it, we ALL are purely egocentric, i mean, whats a friend for right?

john and barb - all the pics of ppls busses in the snow, im starting to get jealous. i may need to seriously weatherproof this beast to go get her burried somewhere. maybe even build a jump over it or encorporate some snow festivities.

ok if your still reading this u can understand that after driving 8 hours and playing catch up on the world i need to rest cause me fingies hurt but i want to re-itterate my main point which many overlooked

get up, get out there, and get it done! we are all of the same flesh and bone, what one man or woman has done before, another can. I seriously knew nothing about any of this and now im already tearing into the tran to change the rear main (below deck) and putting in furniture (above deck). this may seem hedonistic but, if it feels good, DO IT!(without jeopardizing the safefty of the other motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians on the road as well as complying with and obeying all federal, state, county, and city laws/ordinances).

remember your more than welcome to reply w/e u want, i just wanted to let yall know u cant get rid of me that EZ!

this board is addicting i can barely hold my eyes open but all the threads, the threads man!

i jsut wanted to add after readin over the burning man post which i added to (lol im sure that may discourage some), im standing by and building my 2-shower system, and for those who think im foolish i would like to explain myself once more. one of course inside and one obviously outside. the purpose of the outside one i think i mentioned before woould pretty much only get broken out to accomadate neighbors whom do not have their own. From this one can deduct that this will not be an rv park style setting at all. And to thuroughly convince any disbelievers come on out to the playa with no shower amenities and then i might get to see u more often ;-p And just like everyone else camping at festivals, and as i mentioned before was my plan, the grey water from the shower is collected in a black receptacle, evaporated in the sun until a nice sludge is left and then disposed of (i like to bury it, gives those poor bacteria and mites a proper funeral). with my current shower system i leave set up for neighbors, i leave the same accesories i use as well. this including REAL soaps and shampoos that are completely biodegradable, mostly hemp and oatmeal but they will vary with flavors and scents such as lavender and such. these along with the dirt and bacteria which could actually be beneficial to plant life (google beneficial bacteria and mycorhizae) are harmless to comit back to the earth.

i prefer a simple pre-fabbed plastic pond that u just insert into the ground for normal at home use but theres no need to bury it for this application. they come in many sizes at your home depot, i like the simple 3'x2' rectangle thats about 6 inches deep for about 15 dollars i think it was but u can get bigger ones, much bigger ones to the point ima need more pumps and shower heads :-) u might think it wont hold alot but thats about a gallon or so less then 5, gallons i notice cause i currently use a five gallon shower bag. although it is weird to have the water around you ankles, especially if your towards the end of the shower que, cause it can get a lil sludgy at the bottom. in the end its a little maintenance though ive received nothing but thanks and smiles from every last person that i share my current camping facilities with. and if im ever at a rv park...well u dun think im THAT dumb do ya? to let grey water just run off as someone suggested i was intending on doing im sure IS illegal, as was also suggested. but what i believe would be a greater offence (i hate laws and their interpretations based on court presidence), a nuisance to your neighbors. hence the second inside shower that will drain to the same grey tank as the sinks. having a stream of grey water running to the office might be good revenge on a crooked manager though eh?

im glad i got crap here at home to do to get my mind off the bus for a minute, im liable to race back up there to her and get back at it!

Kasse - I tried to read every thread when I found this place.

About your second post, I use "Camp Suds" but don't leave it in the sun like I did once. We had an outdoor shower in our camp last time at Burning Man '06. Beats running behind the water truck. I had black plastic sprinkler hose/pipe because it was cheap, and I was surprised at how much hot water that made. I'm going to put a few coils on my roof this time. Free hot water. -Cullen

hey BW -

little do you know that you have grown on me for quite some time through the archives!

i seriously love how you stay positive, constructive, and simple. i often feel bad cause i cant help leaving long posts but oh well.

i would love to meet up and get some of that humor i have read in the archives first hand. i jsut dunno when ima make it up your way, i never even been to canada before, maybe sounds like an adventure in the making? for now though im supoer busy, plz feel free to hit me up if you ever happen to be around tahoe. no place to park busses at the house but i got a guest room and a hot tub!

oh yeah and BISHOP - i really liked your comments on peters thread "dummy electrical questions." i know i have posted befoire that sometimes i am in complete diagreance with you, but i am in complete concurrence with your concepts on community and postive constructive advice. i feel better now knowing a little more about you ;-p (i still dont see how noah pulled off the arc-email me if you wanna talk about i think i have some strong scientific points you could debate, in a friendly and positive manner of course). and yeah, different strokes for different folks LOL :-)
