"It took a while to build, couldnt find any amish carpenters that could spell BUS......."

I would match the Amish education system with any in the USA.

Do you think they spend half a year on
"Heather Has Two Mommies?

Funny stuff Bill! We know an Amish family in Pa that repairs barns and we had to pick him up to check out ours.My daughter could not get over how he would ride in a truck but not drive one. She kept after him: Bicycle? "I have rode one", Airplane? "oh no, but if i do I will take you with me". How do you go to the mall? "we rent a big van and all the women ride down to Lancaster for the day" How many kids do you have? "12" Really? all with the same mom? "yes all with the same wife" Ouch! At least he was laughing. Except for a couple of things it's not the worst of lives. They have a phone but its in the barn. No answering machine so you have to let it ring a long time. But they know who calls or use the *69 thing cause they will call back! Your conversion must be of space age materials since you are not powered by a draft horse diesel. Repowering must be a snap tho.

Come on FF lighten up a bit, I was raised in amish country and lived and worked with them for many years, The real stories would shock most of you, No wonder this world is in a turmoil with people like you tearing apart everything someone says, make the world smile and you have done something, Bill

If the horse shown is about equal to a 4-53 in a 35 foot bus, how many of them to equal a turbo 8V-92?

When the liberals find out how close you sit to the methane generator, they will force them into bankrupcy and take over the company for the good of all.

I understood what he said, He wasnt Badgering them. I was just kidding, about the spelling, not the part of the rest of the story, I wouldnt come on this board with a post to belittle FF or anyone, I just wouldnt post, I may not agree with all here but I wont get in to a shouting match with others either, I have said it in the past and will repeat it again, "A rich man could not afford to buy all the free information available here on this board" Bill

I hope that rig runs on the level; that would be a royal pain in the mountains. They do quite a bit of work for people and farmers around here. Major Amish and Mennonite community about 30 miles away. They usually come to the job in a long van with all chrome and metal painted black ( Mennonite). Mennonites are somewhat less conservative. This is, of course a generalization. The movie Witness can be enlightening to some extent.

Just in case anyone cares, the picture is a fake. Look at the grass under the carriage body and the shadow patterns on the concrete and you can see the repeats from the copy/paste job. And I'm pretty sure the editing wasn't done by an Amish person so no one should be offended. :-) Hope I didn't burst anyone's bubble too badly...

Since it being pulled by a Standardbred, I guess that makes it a "sportscar". What if it was being pulled by a big ole Clydsedale? Jack

Amish people put more of value on the horses than you would think. There dependance on them is their livlyhood so they take gooooodd care of the horses. Fact!!

I was not making a comment on horse care just
the thought of a single horse pulling a rig that long and heavey. photoshopped or not.
