hello everyone,

i am new to both this forum and the bus world. I recently purchased a 73 silver eagle 05. she is a beauty, well, not quit yet, close, needs some luv. Overall the old girl is in pretty good shape. Have been pulling her apart/setting up temporary walls, bathroom. The plan is to keep it simple, and get out there this summer, using it.

What would be nice is both a maintenance and parts manual, if anyone no`s how to get a hold of them.

thanks for your time

Please apply the proper blocking to the body so you can get under it to inspect the under framing closely. Many of the older models have rust cancer out of sight and also in the sidewalls near the inside floor. Not trying to scare you, just a heads up. There are many posts about these kind of problems on some older models. Anyway, welcome to the board. You'll find many friends and helpful members as you get going.

Hey Razman, Welcome, and it's great to find another Eagle Owner. Clifford gave you good advice. Where do you hail from? Check out Eagles International Website, it's a great place for Eagles to hang out and get/share information.

Silver Eagle has them available on eBay, but I agree with Cilfford, the hard copies are best.

Hello All

Thanks for the heads-up on the undercarriage and rust issues.
I`ll start reading past posts, thanks for the websites on the manuals. The bus had its walls restored a couple years ago, all is good there. I will be jacking her up next week and will go through it with tooth and comb.

I and the bus call vancouver island, canada our home. Look forward to travelling state side this winter,

cheers,
