i have a solenoid. i am using 110v house wire for the main lugs. which wire do i put on the lugs? the black/hot or the white/nutrual thanx christopher |

Not sure if I totally understand what you are asking, but when you are switching an electrical line, it is generally considered better practice to break the "hot" line before the load. |

Always switch the black wire. You may want to consider hiring someone for your electrical work, or at least for consulting on it. Jim |
