I'm in the Kingman area and expect to be around for a while. I was wondering if there were any nearby busnuts that would be interested in a visit.

Most of the time, I can get WiFi signals, so post away!

I go to laughlin every once in a while, but not in summer. it's an oven down there.

I used to live there, so I know...

Kingman is usually 10F cooler, because it's 4000' higher in the mountains, but when it's 120F, 10F cooler doesn't mean much...

We go to Hualapi peak at Kingman 8500 ft lot more than any 10 degrees difference.Laughlin even gets hotter than we do being in the river bottom but the folks from CA love it those high end boats are coming already for the 4th weekend.

I used to live in Lake Havasu and the lake on Memorial or Labor day is full of big boats, and I mean big. You could walk across the lake and never touch the water! Oh what HOT memories! I worked in Needles at the block plant behind Basha's and drove through there recently when I visited Clifford. More memories!

Hi, Pete.

I got interested in some Kingman real estate, so I came down to take a look at it. Being here in the summer was intentional, so that I would have some real world experience with the conditions.

I have encountered some of those!

I have been trying to figure out some way to save up the sunshine but have only decided on a tan, so far.

PS The trouble that I mentioned about our cruise control was caused by me; I routed a wire wrong and one of the conductors was ground through. All is well, now.

LUVR, I'm actually staying in Golden Valley, around 15 miles west of Kingman, for the time being, and expect to be around for a couple more weeks.

I've got a motorcycle here as well as the bus and I have the use of a car (with air conditioning), so I can get around OK, and I don't mind a run to visit someone. I didn't want to ride the bike when it was too hot, though.

I don't have anything set up for PM; if you wanted to visit Friday, you can call me at nine 0 seven six 1 seven five 7 two 7.

Peter, I've found that every degree counts when it is this hot; I'm getting acclimated to the 90s all right, but I have to be careful when it breaks 100 by very much.

Hi, Van. We came through Boulder City when we came down, but I was in a hurry, so I didn't try to look up anyone on the way. I have a little time, now, so I thought that I would check it out.

I'll try some calls and see what we can work out.

Thanks, guys.

Let me guess, RJ. Is it rolling stock or a fixed asset? Whichever, I would like to see it. You do know how to set the hook, don't you?

Doreen is already home because she couldn't be away any longer and I couldn't do what I came to do without her manning the office. It's still hard to figure out what route we will be taking.

I've made offers on some properties here and figure on being around for inspections, etc, and anything that might hang up closings. At this point, I don't know if I will be flying home or taking the bus to Washington.

We were going to have Ted Campbell do some work for us, but he seems to be stymied for the time being. I'll try to call you when I know more.

Bruce, I tried looking up the people you mentioned, but I don't think I am looking at the right information. I did find the Holcombs and the Grassos in the roster. I'll see what happens after this weekend.

Take care, people.
