My dog chewed wires and connectors. Can anybody help me identify what connects to what? One of the cables and numbers: 159,451,542,unidentified,544,545,555,558 I think they connect to 125,207,216,2028, 2108. Some of them have to do with transmission gear selector switch. I am presently in a campground in Greensboro NC if anyone with a 20 is close and I could look at the wires (Message edited by eagle4ed on July 13, 2009) | ||

Edward, the guys on the Eagles board can help some have the NJT model 20 (all white wire) and some have the regular model 20 also Dan a X Eagle parts guy in Brownsville is there and knows his Eagles www.eaglesinternational.net good luck | ||

Ed, I have the original 20 service manuals from NJT/Eagle. My bus is taped up for paint right now so it's not accessable to look at. What area is the damage in? I'm slammed tomorrow, but I can try to help. | ||

Edward, I looked through the manuals this morning and I can't find an area where all those wires are present. The ATEC book only chases wiring through codes, I don't even know if I could figure it out that way though. I used to be able to do a fair job on a situation like yours by stretching the wires out and comparing different lengths. Then I would find a couple that belonged togather and work from there. If they weren't all cut exactly the same, I would give that a try. Don't sound like you have a lot of wires to decipher so that may work. | ||

Ed, I remember that place. Also another thought on your wiring. Try to match them up one at a time, checking for continuity each time at both ends to see if you can match up what the wire's purpose is. I wish I could help more, it will take some time to get it all back to working order. |
