The following news item from Edmonton, Alberta shows that even profesional mechanics in a transit garage can make deadly mistakes.

Edmund Paul LeBlanc, 27, was working under a transit bus, repairing
its brakes, when it rolled forward and killed him, said Chris Chodan, a
spokesman with Workplace Health and Safety.

Another employee was also working under the transit bus, but was not
injured.
