I'm looking at a '78 Le Mirage for a conversion. Currently it is a seated coach but the dealer will remove the seats and take another $500 off the price.

I know that the older Prevost are have problems with rust by the windows and the wind sheild. Are there any other hidden areas that should be checked?

The coach has a 8v71 with a 6spd. It is currently in service with a charter company.

Hi Ron,

Have you read the Articles of Interest section, or Arnie's Articles on this web site?

These areas have a wealth of information, written in plain language by experienced conversion enthusiasts, about antique buses and what to look for in a used coach.

They should answer most of your questions and give you a good basis while you search for that perfect bus for you.

Check the Archives section of this bulletin board, as well. You won't be the last person to ask these questions, but you're nowhere near the first one who has, either!!
