My brother has decided to buy a converted bus and has asked for my assistance. About six months ago an Eagle conversion was on the lot of 'BusforSale' just outside Nashville, Tn. and, had I not been so deep into my RTS conversion, it most certainly would have been mine. We have contacted 'BusforSale' in an attempt to find the Eagle and, they do not have the bus listed any longer. However, they were to contact the owner and get back to us. We have not heard from them and would like to contact the owner directly. Here is what we know (or believe).

The Eagle was converted by a gentleman with a Latin last name and, a small plaque is mounted on the instrument panel to so state.

All woodwork is in solid oak and, exceptionally well done.

The door has been moved to a side entrance.

The bay directly in front of the door has been converted into a bedroom for children.

The stairway is spiral.

We have been told it is a Texas bus, but we thought it to be a California conversion.

If anyone can put us in contact with the owner, we would be most appreciative. Also, if you have, or know of a nice conversion, please contact me through email.

If you don't mind going a little farther than springfield (shot bart the bird on your way through for me), ebay canada has a 1964 silver eagle basic conversion for sale , I think I have the guys contact info if you want to email me direct (click on my profile on the left)

~ I did sugest he save his ebay money to re-list on this far more effective & economical site though.

I see there is a new silver eagel on that great BNO "bus for sale page" even it the link is rather "un-prominent" on the many other busnut pages, real good advertising rates too,

+ eye here say there is even a "looking for column" in the works, even cheaper rates, some suggest !
