I want to direct my exhaust to the side rather than straight back. Where do I find a tail pipe that will fit 3.5 " exhaust "collector"? What length works? Do you use round tip or flaghtened? |

I had a damaged tailpipe on my bus. the tailpipe is mounted to the muffler using a clamping mechanism that's easily loosened. I called up the local muffler shop and asked if they had a length of scrap 4" exhaust pipes. price varied from $10 to $40, so I went over to the $10 place and it was a cheap direct replacement. if your exhaust is 3.5", you can easily find a tail pipe tip at any auto store, of different design to fit on it. Just had this issue. 3.5" is hard to find without ordering a section online. I found the length of 4" that I needed, and had muffler shop weld it to the existing 3.5". |
