Well, 125 lbs of baking soda later, the grafitti is gone, along with all the other old paint that was going to be removed anyway. My colleague in the pool industry that cleans pool tile made short work of the removal process. . . BUT: The soda blasting, even tho it's much, much finer media than glass beads or sand, did leave evidence of it's abrasiveness on the anodizing. For me, it really wasn't much of an issue, since I'd planned on painting it anyway. But for others it's something to be considered. Oh, and no word from PD about the "artist" who left his signature, other than they think it's a bunch of Jr Hi boys that live in the apartment complex about a block south of the storage yard. Seemed they tagged about 6-8 blocks the Saturday night before school started, my coach included. Officer told me it's usually just a matter of time before one of the "tag team" messes up and spills the beans. . . We'll see. FWIW & HTH. . .
