Is this carbon? Copper fittings look Clean?
Do I need to clean whole system and if so How?

dry, wet or oily?

If it is just black in colour and dry, never mind. Combination of some sort of oxidation, winds of time blowing through there, and there does migrate through the system some amount of vapours related to the lube oil in the compressor.

Wet is just condensed moisture.

Oily, then the issue might be contamination.

You need to confirm whether this is a current or previous problem with the compressor and how deep it has traveled.

Then an idea as to how much and whether it will travel anymore, now that you are improving with an air drier and stricter attention to the air system than some previous owner.

Disassembling both ends of the effected lines and blowing through a cleaner that can be followed up with a water rinse and lots of through-put of air from the shop compressor.

And same idea for the air tanks. You may want to leave the tanks sit overnight with something in them to break up the unseen mud on the bottom.

You don't want a residue afterward that will harm the lubrication in your new valves.

happy coaching!

Got the E1 valve from Luke. Removed my old valve anf cleaned it up rebuilt the top. re greased and but it back together.
And climbed back in to install it in the spare tire compartment Had a devil of a time to get the lines back on they seemed on the short side I was wishing I had 3 arms and hands, Kind of hard to hold push and turn a nut all at the same time.

So now to test for leaks in the lines and valves!

Now to find the fittings for the end of the hose for the oil It uses the same hose as the Air and fuel lines I have I know of places in Cal. to get then most places here ether want to make you one or only carry the sinflex or how about copper I hsve a lot of the high presser hose! For I would rather make my own sense I have all the line!
