I want to put a new tail pipe on the 4106. I can't get the tail pipe off my muffler W/O great effort so I can't measure the mufffler out-let diameter. I'm assuming it's 3.5 inch. I want to direct the exhaust to the side, I'll need 90 degree angle & then a tip. I haven't located a source of 3.5 inch pipe yet either. So, what size is the out-let and where do I find needed supplies? |

Just go to a NAPA store. They have these items, including mufflers, in their exhaust catalog under the heavy duty section. |

I think If you measure the out side at the Muffler then take away the thickness of the pipe x2 you should have the pipe inside or ID at the end and the same size for the muffler OD outlet. Look at the pipe you have now is the muffler end flared or strait Tell the sales person what you have now as far as tail pipe and tell them the change you are making the sales person should be able to get you what you need! Hope this helps you! Rob (Message edited by Robsedona on September 13, 2009) |

I looked up the parts in this catalog http://www.walkerheavyduty.com/ and used those numbers to order from these guys http://www.rockauto.com/ At the time it was half the price of NAPA and delivered. Cliff |

Your muffler outlet should be 3.5 inches. Mine had a 5 inch once but with a new muffler it is 3.5. Got my elbow from Luke. Larry 4106 |
