You were right ,My non working bay door lights are draining my battery. What should I do?? |

Take the lights out. Cut the wires then tape them off till you get new lights.You could find some on ebay. |

Many old coaches need some love , both in looking for electric losses , or tiny air leaks. Glad you found the first few , but if you look on the wiring schematic , you may find other items , no longer used , but not properly terminated. Same for air stuff , on Gm's the air went to the gradustat & was used in the air cond clutch / safty system. Another place to check that if its removed , its OFF correctly. FAST FRED |

I would pay particular attention to the switches that are supposed to turn the lights on. Notorious for rusting on our vintage coaches, and since they work by grounding, just a little high resistance rust in there and you have an electron leak! Who knows, you might get them working again quite easily with a little switch attention or replacement. Pretty simple momentary-on push buttons. happy coaching! buswarrior |
