Just wanted to let everyone know, we have 10 units that are registered with the Big Red Barn RV Park, in Carthage, MO, and a couple of "maybes". She says she can fit 3-5 more units and then will be booked for the weekend, so if anyone is "still on the fence", you might reserve soon. THE GOOD NEWS IS, that Larry and I do NOT have to leave for a wedding reception on Saturday, so we WILL be smoking ribs and chicken for at least Friday night's meal. ;D Usually we have way more than enough to feed leftovers and we also make a potluck chili pot on Saturday evening too. :D We'll have use of the meeting barn for the weekend, and also the fire ring, so looks like it's shaping up to be another great rally. The weather will be cool, which makes it all the nicer to be hanging around the fire for sure! We'll arrive no later than Thursday, so anyone that gets there early, look for TempBus. . . 4107 with white upper half and a Buffalo license plate on the front. ;D We're more than glad to welcome "drop-ins" and last minute attendees, so if you find yourself suddenly free, well, come on over and join us! We still haven't heard for sure on next weekend yet either. . .we were so relieved they weren't doing it this weekend, we didn't feel like pushing too hard for an answer on the next. I'll let you know as soon as I know, ha ha. I sure hate to miss it, as we've been every other one, but boy, we sure seem to be pulled in every direction by family committments and needs this year. Christy and All Bring you umbrella and long handle underwear!!! Forecast calls for 4-7" of rain from Wednesday night to Friday am then clearing skies with temps of upper 30's for low and highs under sunny skies Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the mid 50's.
