I owned a 1962-01 model Eagle and need to repair the roof because of water leakage. Should I first seal the joints and then apply Kool Roof or use a rubber roof type paint? Thanks! Paul |

What type of leaks do you have? Are they seam leaks or otherwise? You can use a real good quality paintable caulking on the seams, make sure the surface is clean and prepared properly. If you have other problems we need to know what kind and where they are located in order to give you the best answer. Kool Seal is a good product, I used a Henry product purchased from HD or Lowes that works the same way. It's a white elastomeric rubberized white roof coating, much cheaper than the Kool Seal. We have an Eagle Forum at www.eaglesinternational.net come check it out. Paul (Message edited by dreamscape on October 07, 2009) |
