compressor? Have a 6/92, bought new remanufactured compressor any tricks to know before I get started? |

I think we need more Info. Compressor for AC or Air compressor for airing up the Bus. Is it the same as the old? |

sorry about that Air compressor for airing up bus. and yes same as the old . old one was pushing oil. Got new gov.and guts for air dryer all from REI. |

Ted, Replacement is pretty straight forward. The biggest hassle is getting to it...gotta go through the floor. I'd recommend a good pressure cleaning before you lift the floor. Be sure to bleed all the pressure off the system before you disconnect the lines. You may need a gear puller to swap the drive gear from your old compressor to the new one. Once you have the mating surfaces clean, use Permatex Aviation Form-A-Gasket on both sides of the gasket before you reinstall. |

Bob has it it will be straight forward A helper might be a good idea also. Do not use silicone sealer! |
