I've added 10 new pics of the outside conversion work on my Thomas. When you pull up the link go to "bus photos", they should be on the second page. Included are the one piece factory door and cap installation. http://photos.yahoo.com/dervatl Darryl |

Very nice are you doing the work yourself and when did you start? I didn't see your privious posts. Anyway looks great. Larry |

Larry, The exterior is being "master minded" by a friend of mine that does restoration on antique cars. He is also a bus nut too. I just help him do the grunt work. The inside work is mostly mine. I started this last spring. It's really hard to get much done working only on the weekends (the ones that are free, that is). I don't do cold very well, so the winter days are spent mostly planning. By this spring, I hope to start using it some. |

Darryl, Well you are getting along in good time, for the amount you are able to spend, it appears to have been well spent. Looks like you will make spring ok. Larry |

Thanks Keith (and all!). You don't see too many Thomases (or Bluebirds for that matter) that were home built. The idea for lowering the skirt came from my fellow busnut body man. I think that changes the look quite a bit. I sort of like a slightly commercial look for the inside so there will be quite a bit of laminates when it is finished. |
