Had heard good things about Terry Bennet in McMinnville TN and tried to call about having a Jake installed but number (931-815-3080) comes back out of service. Have we lost a great shop to retirement or the economy ? | ||

Thanks Luke, guess I waited too long ! Anyone have any good experiences between Tennessee and the Rio Grande Valley in Texas?? Heading south soon and could detour along the way for a reliable shop. | ||

I recommend the Choo Choo Express Garage in Rossville, GA (south side of Chattanooga, TN) Their $55/hr shop rate is hard to beat and the mechanic (Joel) knows these old DD engines and other bus systems really well. The number to call is 423-260-1290. They are located about 2 miles from the junction of I-24 and I-75. Not the same one but it sounds closer to where you are the one I use is on the south side of the city off I-75 |
