On the way down through Virginia, three months ago, we passed a bus yard with about 2 hundred coaches setting there. Saw several different brands through the chain link fence. Age range appeared to cover about 20 years of models from what I could see. There was a sign out front that said Easter Bus Sales. Don't know anymore about it or them; just thought I'd pass it on. Maybe they sell to the public and might have a web site. There were also three places along the same road with 6 to maybe 10 or more coaches setting, apparently for sale. Don't know if it was same people or not. Took some pics of yard from road. will post pics. or route number of road if anyone has any interest. |

Bobby Easter owns Easter's Bus Sales (Bassett, Virginia) and several of his family members are in the Blue Grass Gospel business. The Easter family is related (by marriage) to the Lewis family of Lewis Charter service and bus sales in Augusta, Georgia. I bought my coach from Bobby several years ago. He also list a few buses for sale on ebay, but I don't remember is ebay I.D. Bobby is a pretty good fellow, but as with any bus lot, you need to know something about buses in order to make a good selection. |
