Many local sign shops can do these. I took my design in .jpeg on a CD to Dorsett Signs in Venice Florida. Picked up the mural the next day. Mine was about 16" X 24" and cost about $40. Might want to check with local sign shops. Jack |

these are 48x48 so it would be more costly as it is 2wice the width as yours and 3 x the height. i just have no idea what to put on it though. |

Jack Conrad wrote "Many local sign shops can do these." Often, they'll be listed as "advertising wrap" or "vehicle wrap" businesses. |

Not picking on you Jack, but just a bit of advice. If you want to make a small image file big, it is a good idea to use a non-lossy format, like .bmp .tif or .png Best, is to use .svg or Scalable Vector Graphics format. |

Thanks for that Thomas, I have future plans for one on my 4905. BTW, I'd hate to see what John MC9 would probably put on the back of his..... I know that Ian would put a picture of himself standing alongside of that bus of his on the back... |

Chessie!!! Here you go again, That would be funny too. I have heard that wrapping is cheaper than painting and will last about as long. Gomer Could you see him jumping up and down? I would bet he would do it too. LOL |

I went to the company that does the "ad wraps" on the local transit buses. Much cheaper than paint for the area I have in mind but the graphic has to be high resolution. Once you blow it up you can see the grainy quality. Cullen's suggestion to use .bmp,.png or .svg formats is a bit over my head. Can you take a .jpg file and convert it or does it have to be created in one of those higher resolution formats? If that's the case, how do you do it? Is there a library of larger graphics I can choose from? Bryan Vancouver BC |

Brian, I think that most "photo" or "graphic" software packages that handle a .jpg file can also convert/store the image as a .bmp. But it may become grainy or imprecise doing so; likely that it can be cleaned up manually at that point. Probably, the issue of dpi (dots per inch or pixels or bytes per inch) is bigger - you'll need a software package with a high number to generate an image that will blow up well. If you're using "Windows", go to your "Accessory" folder and open "Paint" and experiment a bit. |
