I came across this conversion last year...Jake did a nice job with it. Very informative as well, as he goes into pretty good detail on the conversion process! A major plus for a beginner like me!!!

He painted it with a roller. Try that on your Prevost! But it's a great job for $3500.

Doug, if I could afford a Prevo, I don't think I would be too concerned with the coast of painting it! Haha

I'm not much for hand rolling the paint jobs, but I have seen a few that have turned out pretty well...given the applique.

Question to all: When hand rolling the paint onto your coach, are there any clear coats available that can be applied in the same manner? My biggest concern with this method of painting, is what will protect the paint job from fading six months down the road?

What are anyone else's thoughts on this painting method ??

Josh, if you look on Nellies bus facebook page she has a picture of my TMC MC-8. I painted it where it sits, first the roof 7 gallons Rust-Olem bright white, then a 90's Jeep (marron) enamil with hardner. After that I pulled the windows an only used plywood to blank the openings and used same paint as roof. ALL was done with a top loader sprayer and holds about 40 oz. Top loader sprayers do not use a lot of air volume or pressure. AS for useing a roller it can look good if prep work an paint are consistant. Remember Ford T's an A's were painted by hand with brushes in production lines.

That is nothing short of remarkable for 3500 bucks.

fridge hot water heater stove water pump holding tanks all the wiring & cord lighting a/c units heater?????????????

For sure there is no generator but still that is remarkable if his costs included everything.

The cabinates door and wood work are very nice I like the skinny skinny door concept makes sence (for most)

Very well done

I wonder what something like that is worth and would sell for in this market?

Peter
Very nicely done. Especially for so little. Most of us have more then $3500 in the tires never mind building the whole thing for that. You sure are right about the safety aspect of a bus compared to a S&S unit.
