What's the old saying... one man's junk is another man's treasure??? ...could be, for someone that wants to put his heart (and $$$) into it. Best wishes! RCB |

Interesting.. looks like someone raised the roof to look like a 4108. Ummm, I don't know whether it's worth 100 bucks though. Sounds like he has had it setting for ten years and bought it from someone that left it set for ???years? |

What a shame. Looks like this kid made a hash out of what was once a pretty promising bus. Is it even worth messing with at this point...? Nellie Wilson |

The remaining amount of fuel left in the tank was not listed, but could impact the value..... |

WOW! Looks like it may have been a "nice" coach at one point... I must say that the weeds growing through the engine compartment are a nice touch!! I'm not sure I would even know where to begin with this coach..and I thought I was at a "sticky point" with my own! Nellie, to answer your question..I personaly don't think it is... Unfortunately, I think he will fair much better in stripping the interior for firewood and having the shell towed to a salvage yard for scrap... Just my thoughts. Josh |

I love 4104's but with a roof raise and side door cut in to it, it is scrap. |

Don't deny that, Josh...I think it's just what one is willing /able and wants to put into a project....any project....buses, wives, guitars, whatever.... I have enjoyed (? sure) every minute I have put into my conversion.....was it "worth it"...I don't know. Will someone who buys it from me when I can no longer "do it" feel it is a "good conversion" or as Nellie stated above 'HASH"...( GEEWHIZ...I USED TO LIKE HASH, Nellie...gotta re-think that now, I guess ) I surely don't know... But, I can tell you, it was worth it for me because t'was what I wanted to do...for the "fun of it"....and can remember in the 1970's wanting to "do it"....I done it!!!! There are a bunch of folks on these boards who have started from less than desirable situations that are pretty well satisfied with what they have done...I could name them, but t'would serve no useful purpose. For me... I sincerely hope the fellow who wants to rid himself of this "camper" can gain what he wants...and the purchaser can do the same... FWIW RCB |
