drove the 4106 for the first time today with my buddy/carpenter at my side. seems the jake is not operating properly/at all. where dose it hook up in the rear? it is very well posible that i knocked off one of the wires to the switch when i had the electrical cover off.is there a fuse related to the jake? thanks tom |

Tom Chances are the previous owner installed the Jake. You will have to follow wires and check for continuity at the switches. There is a dash switch, throttle switch and a switch in the tranny lockup port if you are running an automatic. Check the resistance to ground at each head connection to make sure the wires inside the rocker covers haven't broken off due to vibration as well. You should get a low ohms reading on each head if they are okay. Basicly follow the wires and check. Bill |

it worked fine on the way here from calif. it may be a loose/broken wire as the gennie starter and the inverter panel were mounted on the side panel , i moved both to the cabinet above my head and may of knocked it loose?? we will check it first thing in the am as i have to go to the hospital and wait for the car seat lady to install our new seat in the bus.we will have plenty of time to fool with it while we wait for her. thanks tom |
