I recently had R&M caps put on my coach and we have been getting leaks now. Is there any special
type of sealant that bonds with the stainless and fiberglass? Any and all replies would be great thanks in advance.

P&M gutter and lap siding sealant works good and can be found at Home Depot. Cheaper than the leading brand and if you read the ingredients, they are they same! I got this tip from Fred Hobe at North Florida Bus Conversions.

Hope this helps!

I think it might be "P&L", but probably the same stuff. I got it at HD as well. Worked great for me (between fiberglass and aluminum; no stainless in the joints on my bus, so can't speak to that one).

I applied mine BEFORE attaching the caps, so it was forced out through all the joints and rivet holes. I'm not sure how well it will work as a sealant after the fact...
