So I call rv serplus to inquire about one of their tanks and ask if they carried 3" pipe in polypropelyene cause I want to connect the toilet directly to this tank. The guy says to me, It's against the law to put black water in a polypropylene tank. Huh!? |

Hi Doug, Well, most of the world does it that way, my bus does. One of my friends who works with a paving crew was given a bunch of the old aluminum signs that had street names and such on them that could not be used for another job. We cut them into pieces and tig welded them into some real nice tanks for just the cost of some welding supplys. This ended up being alot cheaper than polypropylene and we got the exact sizes we needed. I had my water bay professionally done, but I think the aluminum tanks he has are even better. They sure look nice and they fit exact. |

Call 'em back and tell them to do a Google for polypropylene and sewage. Maybe they'll wake up in time to make a sale.... (or not) |

Doug, I was there and found a black water tank that had some fittings on it,not used, about 39gallons, $40.00. I was given a used 40 gal. sewer tank from a travel trailer an it is under the black water tank. They have many tanks in the back room. But before we left Pa. in Nov. there was a add on Craigs list for used travel trailer parts in Higgens Pa. you may find something there. |
