Not that it much matters I guess, but I was on my way home from work last night and saw a MC 102 heading east with no air in teh passenger side air bags. This was the whole passenger side including the steer axle. I thought is may have been a valve that was frozen as it is -30 C here. But then again I thought it doesn't make sense. Anyone know what may have caused this?? Thought it may be usefull info in the future as no air on one side would be very uncomfortable. Grant |

Grant; The mci has one control valve for the front and one on each side for the rear. The tag is operated by indivual valves. I ran one and it froze also and the front end was down but the rear was still up. After warming up the next week LOL the tanks were drained manually instead of automatic. That was the only problem and all valves were checked after that for proper operation and found water in the front tank. Cleaned ALL the tanks and had a bunch of gook in the front tank that made the valve not work properly. No problem after that. Moral of the story MAINTAIN THE COACH!! No offense intended to anyone except ME. We all neglect some things. Gomer |

If the linkage falls off on one of the rear valves the same thing will happen, I know first hand about that. I had a very pronounced port list to say the least. The solution was to hold down the left valve by hand until the bag leveled the bus then replace the linkage socket rubber insert and bolt. |
